Cultivating Connections
Happy June! As we bask in the beauty of summer, it's a perfect time to start thinking ahead to our Fall and Winter garden plans. Here in the Pacific Northwest, we have unique opportunities to create vibrant, resilient gardens year-round. What do you envision for your winter garden this year? As always, we’re here to help if you need us.
Throughout this year, I've spoken a lot about the importance of community. Whether it's maintaining cherished connections or building new ones, nurturing these relationships is essential. Like any project or dream, it takes dedication and effort to bring it to life. There’s a delicate balance to strike as we pour our energy into our goals—be they projects or people. It’s about not tipping too far in any one direction.
Consider your journey: do your ideas and intentions guide you, or do you find yourself being pulled in unexpected directions? Just like in our physical bodies, when we feel strong and balanced, it can be insightful to close our eyes and truly sense that balance. It’s often a bit more challenging to stay centered with eyes closed, but that’s where growth happens.
Take moments to check in with yourself. It's okay to close your eyes and dream, to feel the edge of discomfort where the real work lies. Then, open your eyes and take the next step, no matter the direction it leads.
As we continue to regenerate, cultivate, and grow together in this wonderful community, we want to extend a heartfelt Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. Enjoy your special day this coming Sunday.
